Splish, Splosh, Splash!
We’re delighted to be part of a project inspired by the waterways of the East Midlands which will be making a Splash! next summer.
Splash! will be an outdoor, sensory, visual performance, inspired by themes of water, buoyancy and discovery. It will tour to five venues in the East Midlands from June to September 2019. We are making the show for children and young people with learning disabilities and their families.
The show is being created by Extraordinary Bodies, Diverse City, The Mighty Creatives and a number of theatres and organisations across the East Midlands that make up the Splash Consortium, which in addition to us includes: Attenborough Arts Centre, Curve, Déda, East Midlands Canal and Rivers Trust, Graeae Theatre, NEO Learning, Lincoln Drill Hall Arts Centre, New Perspectives, Nottingham Playhouse, Royal & Derngate and the University of Derby.
Extraordinary Bodies, Diverse City, The Mighty Creatives and the Splash Consortium are currently looking for performers to take part in the show.

We are auditioning D/deaf, disabled, learning disabled and Black and Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) circus artists, actors and dancers. We are very interested in artists living or working in the East Midlands.
The audition is a chance for performers to meet people from theatres in the East Midlands, to make connections with other artists, build relationships and start conversations.
