Kessoku

Tales of Togetherness
2016

‘ Kessoku’  means unity in Japanese – a way of working together that values each individual as part of the whole.

This is how the Hubbub Theatre Company ensemble works, intagrating the talents and ideas of everyone involved.

The production is based on 3 Japanese stories. It is full of fun and visual treats with physical theatre, puppetry, shadow projection, music, dance and more! Best described as ‘ Zen to mayhem in 50 minutes!’ , ‘ Kessoku’  takes the audience from the stillness and ritual of Japanese meditation and movement into a high energy action-packed tanuki (that means a raccoon!) chase and fanfare which has delighted our diverse audiences.
