We offer an exciting and original programme of classes and workshops for adults and young people in our community.
Get Involved is a great way for the learning disabled, autistic and/or neurodivergent community to interact with new people, develop social skills and confidence, and make new friends. The weekly sessions also include time to visit the café and socialise with other group members.
Get Involved are also responsible for organising all our social events, keep reading for more information.
Tuesday Creatives

This group began in Jan 2023 and is focused on life skills and wellbeing for independent learning disabled, autistic and/or neurodivergent adults who want a space to be creative, explore their identity, meet new friends, have their voice heard and get involved in social events, celebrations and joyful protest Want to join us? The Hub
Wednesdays 10:00 am – 3.00pm | 19 Chapel St – 18 years+
The Hub is our weekly community drama group for learning disabled, autistic and neuro-divergent adults to develop confidence, self-expression and social skills. The group use drama, movement, music and games. They also host our fabulous social nights at our home, 19 Chapel Street and some have now trained as DJ’s. Want to join us? Free Creative Workshops
Creative workshops for
young people aged 11-18.
Funded by the CANVAS Project, we are able to offer free, weekly workshops include movement, music, puppetry, drama and games, supported by professional musicians from Sinfonia Viva, actors from The Company, and our highly experienced creative facilitators. There is a focus on wellbeing, self confidence, self expression and being part of a group.
Sessions take place every Thursday, 4.30pm – 6.30pm in term time, with holiday sessions too.
