Hubbub Theatre Company were delighted to have the opportunity to perform at Lakeside Art Centre’s Children’s Festival ‘Wheee!’ this year. Alongside other local and national street theatre companies they took their place with Village Green Antics, recently reworked and recast with new members Dan Walmsley and Maddy More.
It was a beautiful day, rather hot, but the company performed the show 3 times and we had some playful interaction with the audience who had the opportunity to take part in egg and spoon and obstacle races.
We had some great feedback and generated many smiles. Everyone did brilliantly and we are looking forward to our next street theatre performance at Derby Feste in September 2014, although, you never know, there may be an outing before then! Watch this space….
