Spring is in the air, days are getting longer, lambs are bounding in their fields and chicks are beginning to hatch. Our thoughts are starting to turn to Easter Eggs, chocolate and the Village Green! We’re looking forward to performing our Street Theatre show, Village Green Antics at this year’s Burton’s Children Easter Festival as part of The Brewhouse Arts Centre’s ‘Play in the Place’ event on Saturday 31 March.

Combining theatre, dance, circus, clowning and live music, Village Green Antics is a fun-filled show that revisits games and races that would traditionally have been played on a Village Green… although our larger than life characters don’t quite do what they’re supposed to!

We’ll be performing between 10.00am and 4.00pm and make sure you keep a look out for our Clown Powered Vehicle that will be promenading around the Market Place throughout the day, generating colour, smiles and plenty of interest.

And if that’s not enough there’s also the opportunity to GET INVOLVED and join us for our Annual Hubbub Club Summer Beach Party on Friday 13 July at Déda. When we’ll be grabbing our shorts and sunglasses and inviting you to join us for summer fun!

Come along and enjoy new performances from the company, interactive games in the café, surprise acts and scorchin’ summer tunes from the DJ’s to dance the night away and don’t forget our famous Hubbub raffle.

Everyone is welcome, especially those with moderate learning difficulties and their friends and families and dressing up in beach gear is encouraged.

This is proving to be a highlight of our year, so get your tickets early and join us for buckets of fun!

Tickets for the Beach Party, which runs from 7pm – 10pm, cost £10 and are available by calling the Box Office on: 01332 370 911 or clicking here.

The Hubbub Club is sponsored by the Ever So Sensible Group.
