The Reimagine project is a follow on to This is Derby which took place in 2019 across Derby City.

Hubbub, along with Quad and Sinfonia Viva, worked together across the SEND community in the city, to bring creativity to young people, whilst developing life skills.

As we are now all working at home due to COVID19, we have adapted our project to allow you to access a variety of activities happening throughout August.

Hubbub have created an online booklet of movement and creative activity with original music from the late Matt Marks and Ines Sampaio Figeurido. We will explore themes of Hope, Kindness and Change through movement and music, with opportunity for you to express in different ways about what matters to you. You can download the booklet here and you can use it as you wish, working with a family member, friend or by yourself.

If you are aged 14- 18 and you’d like to do MORE Hubbub will be offering live Zoom creative sessions FREE OF CHARGE every Thursday throughout August to children and young people across Derby City and Derbyshire with SEND or additional support needs – for you to learn new creative skills and join in and have fun from home.

Thursdays 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th August – 1.30pm – 3.00pm
Booking closes for these movement sessions on Tuesday 4th August. Emails with Zoom links and instructions will then be emailed so you have everything you need for the first session on Thursday 6th August.

We would like you to commit to all weeks of the course, as we will be creating a mini performance with live music and building ideas across the weeks. All sessions will be BSL interpreted by our friends at Theatre Sign

Both Quad and Sinfonia Viva will similarly be offering workshops for you to engage in craft and music making – all across differing days in August to allow you to participate in all workshops – craft, movement and music – or just one or two strands if you prefer.
